Aloo Paratha

Aloo Paratha or Potato Paratha is a potato stuffed indian flat bread. It is a tasty delicious recipe.  Here goes the procedure to prepare aloo paratha. Preparation time: 30 minutes Ingredients: Potato: 4 Red chilli powder: 1tsp Cumin powder: 1/2 tsp Wheat flour: 2 cups Salt to taste Oil to fry paratha Procedure: Cut each potato into 4 pieces and boil it in water.Drain the water once they are cooked. ( Insert a knife into potato if it goes into potato without sticking then it is cooked). Let it cool down. Remove the skin from potatoes and mash them with a spoon. Now mix salt, red chilli powder and cumin powder. Keep it aside. Take wheat flour in a large bowl. Add a pinch of salt and 1 tsp oil. Now mix flour adding little water to form a dough. Add 1 tsp oil and knead the dough to become soft. Make small balls from the dough sprinkle some flour on it and roll it with a rolling pin into a small

Carrot raita

Carrot Raita is prepared with Carrot , Yogurt and green chillies. A healthy, tasty and quick recipe to add to your menu. Preparation time: 15 minutes Serves: 3 people Ingredients: Carrot: 3 (grated) Green chillies: 6 ( finely chopped) Mustard seeds:1/2 tsp Cumin seeds: 1/2 tsp Red chillies: 1 Turmeric powder: small pinch Asafoetida: small pinch Oil: 2tsp Salt to taste. Curry leaves: few Coriander to garnish. Procedure: Take yogurt in a bowl and beat it until it becomes smooth. Take a kadai add 2tsp oil and add mustard seeds when it splutters add cumin seeds, red chillies and asafoetida. Sauté it once  green chillies and curry leaves. When it turns golden brown then add grated carrot stir it for a minute. Take them into a bowl.  Add Yogurt, salt and turmeric powder to the carrot mix. Garnish  with coriander. Vidya Saraswathi Temple, Vargal.

Sri Vidya Saraswathi temple is in vargal, Medak district, Hyderabad, Telengana State. It is 48 kilometers from Hyderabad.  The Idol in this temple is Godess Saraswathi, Consort of Brahma and God of education in Hinduism.  The saraswathi idol is beautiful with yellow in colour holding Veena ( a musical instrument) in her hand. The temple came into  existence because of a scholar, astrologer and follower of Godess Saraswathi, named Sri Yamavaram Chandrasekhara  Sharma. It is constructed on a small hill surrounded by a valley.  Other temples on the same hill:  Vijaya Ganapathi temple, Sanischara temple Lord shiva temple.  Lord Shiva temple is of 400 years old  and is 2 feet below the ground. People has to crawl  for few feet to go to this shiva temple. There are some other vaishnava temples which got damaged completely without any traces.
