Sri Lakshmi Ganapathi Temple, Bikkavolu.




Sri Lakshmi Ganapathi Temple, Bikkavolu is a 1100 year old Swayambhu temple. It is situated in Bikkavolu a small village in East Godavari District Andhra Pradesh. The village was actually called as Birudankinavolu and later transformed as Bikkavolu.

During the East Chalukya period between 849 -892, The Chalukyas ruled this place with Bikkavolu as capital and constructed many temples. During the 9th century the chalukyas constructed this Swayambhu ( came itself out of the earth) Ganapathi temple. There was a route for soldiers just few yards away from the main idol but now it is called as a pit.



The idol is big with 11 feet height and no one knows the base and how depth it is in the underground.  The specialty of this idol is the trunk turns towards south. It is believed that whoever whispers their desires in the ears of the idol they were granted the boons and they revisit the temple. The idols looks beautiful and depicts the art and sculpture Chalukya dynasty.

Special poojas in this temple are done on the fourth day of the Telugu month ( Shudha Chavithi) called Laksha Patri pooja. 

Annadanam is performed every Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Wednesday.

Sri siddi vinayaka temple is at Rejinthal, Zaheerabad, Medak district, Telengana. It  is nearer to Hyderabad and is at a distance of 108 kilometers.  Zaheerabad was previously called Pedda Ekkheli. Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple Simhachalam

Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple is situated in Simahachalam, 15k ms from Visakhapatnam. The main idol of this temple is Sri Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy. Lakshmi is the consort of Narasimha Swamy. There are 10 Incarnations of Lord Vishnu.  Varaha is the third and Narasimha is the Fourth  incarnation. The idol in this temple is the combination of two incarnations of Lord Vishnu. The history of Simahachalam temple links back to Purana's and there are some interesting facts about this history. Kamakshi Temple at Kancheepuram.

Kamakshi temple is one of the prominent Hindu temples and it is one of the fifity one shaktipeetas. It is situated at Kancheepuram, Tamilnadu. The diety in this temple is Kamakshi a form of Parvathi. This is the only temple of Parvathi in Kancheepuram. Ayodhya, Madhura, Gaya, Kaasi, Kanchi, Avanthika Puri, Dvaravathi Shaiva sapthaithe mokshadayini. Above poem is of the names of seven Moksha Nagarams out of which Kanchi is the only one situated in  South India. In the name Kamakshi , Ka represents Godess Saraswathi, Ma represents Godess Lakshmi and Akshi means Eyes.  Kamakshi is having  Lakhmi and Saraswathi as its eyes. The godess  done penace by sitting on the tip of the needle sorrounded by Pancha Agni's (Five holy fires) to be freed from livelihood.
